The Hallmark Lawrence Greetings Production Center is in Lawrence, KS and opened in 1958. The facility is 650,000 square feet and is one of two primary U.S. manufacturing facilities supporting Hallmark Cards, Inc. This facility specializes in producing and packaging all of Hallmark's domestically produced greeting cards and about 98% of all envelopes for Hallmark North America. The Lawrence Greetings Production Center employs more than 800 people.
As Production Planning Analyst, you will perform analytical support to aid in the creation and delivery of an accurate, capacity-feasible, time-phased production plan to an assigned internal manufacturing facility.
WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE
The Production Planning Analyst must have a strong working knowledge of critical master data elements and their direct impact on the plan and will be expected to become the expert for locally relevant master data. In addition, the analyst will be expected to become highly proficient in SAP Advanced Planning Optimization (APO) and Enterprise Core Component (ECC). Although this role will have a critical focus on locally relevant data and associated alerts, this incumbent will also have responsibility for planning of pre-mate, one-up materials and unconstrained work centers not requiring advanced planning tools. The analyst must also have a good understanding of Hallmark operations and supply chain.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 1 year of relevant Hallmark business experience
Prior experience in an SAP-enabled environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, engineering, or other relevant field
Any additional advanced technical degree/certification
Proficient in Excel
Working knowledge of Tableau
Strong analytical aptitude with proven ability to analyze and interpret data
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Possess ability to work confidently with personnel at all organizational levels
