About the Role

The Director of Operations will play a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of our school district. By overseeing vital departments such as finance, human resources, facilities, food service, and information technology, you will ensure seamless operation and compliance with all relevant regulations and school board policies. Your leadership will support the crisis management team, law enforcement, transportation, and the Worker's Compensation Committee, as well as internal audits and strategic compliance plans.

In collaboration with Human Resources and district management, you will address employee relations and Title VII and Title IX issues. Strong analytical skills will be essential as you gather, research, and analyze data to meet federal and state reporting requirements.

We seek candidates who are vision-driven and possess effective communication skills, a strong ability to resolve conflicts collaboratively, and a commitment to the school board's mission. Ideal applicants should have a Master's degree or Doctorate in education, preferably with district leadership credentials. Required experience includes district-level administration focused on business operations and district budgets, as well as a background in human resources and data analysis. Proven success in leading compliance plans and equal opportunity initiatives is highly valued.

You will also support the superintendent by monitoring departmental requests and ensuring alignment with strategic goals and budgetary needs.
