The City of Topeka is seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to serve as its Deputy Director of Human Resources. This position reports to the Human Resources Director and provides broad strategic and operational support, overseeing functions such as policy development, budget management and project management. The position directly oversees key HR functions including Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and recruitment and provides leadership and guidance relating to personnel actions, employee relations, performance management and compensation. What you ll do: Assist the Director of Human Resources with the management, development and implementation of departmental goals, objectives, policies and priorities.
