At ZOLL Medical Corporation, our Cardiac Management Solutions division is committed to developing innovative products that safeguard the lives of patients with cardiac conditions. As a leader in the industry, we manufacture the LifeVest® wearable cardioverter defibrillator, a critical tool for patients at risk of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA).

Your role as a Patient Support Specialist (PSS) will be crucial in ensuring that patients receive necessary life-saving therapies. The LifeVest® has already provided peace of mind to hundreds of thousands of patients, and it's time for you to contribute to this mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule services by contacting patients and their caregivers.
  • Flexible availability for assignments during the day, evenings, and weekends.
  • Travel to patients' homes and healthcare facilities to provide necessary support.
  • Conduct training for patients and caregivers on the safe and effective use of the LifeVest®.
  • Program the LifeVest® in accordance with the prescribed physician's directives.
  • Measure patients for accurate garment sizing.
  • Ensure patients comprehensively understand their treatment by reviewing and obtaining signature on all required paperwork.
  • Actively manage device and garment inventory.
  • Maintain transparency about any potential referral relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of patient care experience in a professional setting.
  • Experience must be documented on your resume.
  • Completion of a background check is required.
  • Florida and Ohio candidates must undergo a level 2 screening at their own expense.
  • Disclosure of your personal NPI number (if applicable).
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and car insurance or a valid state ID.
  • Agreement to pay an annual $30 DME fee, deducted from your completed work order.
  • Willingness to cover costs related to additional vendor credentialing as needed.
