Ultra Electronics is seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team to build, inspect, and test new build products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to quality work. Hours for this position are typically Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with occasional overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Precision placement of small electronic components onto printed circuit boards.
2. Soldering of electronic components onto printed circuit boards.
3. Visual inspections of electronic components and assemblies.
4. Application of epoxies, coatings, and silicone to electronic assemblies.
5. Installation of hardware (screws, nuts, etc.) using handheld tools.
6. Maintenance and tracking of production documentation.
7. Organization and maintenance of workbench and equipment.
8. Other electronics manufacturing tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team.
• Ability to handle critical feedback professionally.
• Dedication to quality and precision.
• US Person or eligible to obtain Export Authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in electronic circuit board assembly and/or hand soldering electronics.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to visually inspect products through a microscope.
• Must pass eye exam (glasses or contacts allowed).
• Controlled hand dexterity for working with small components.
• Good hand-eye coordination for manipulating tiny components.
• Ability to read and follow production procedures.
