Position Purpose |
Provide leadership for the organization towards fulfillment of its mission, vision and goals. Responsible for the management and leadership of the Environmental Services departments to include Housekeeping, Maintenance and Remodeling. Direct operations of the departments for maximum efficiency in compliance with professional standards, government regulations and Brewster Place guiding principles, policies and procedures to ensure that the highest level of quality services are provided. |
Key Responsibilities/Duties |
Coordinates and directs Brewster Place facilities cleanliness to maintain the required environmental services compliance. Supervises a team of housekeepers, custodians and homemakers across campus. |
Coordinates and directs Brewster Place facilities and grounds maintenance and remodeling to provide high quality services in an efficient manner. Will oversee vendor contract negotiations and management. Will provide support to purchasing/supplies when needed. |
Handles resident complaints and issues regarding the Environmental Services team to include Housekeeping, Custodial, Maintenance, and Remodeling. |
Serves as a member of the Director level management team and participates in group decision-making concerning the overall operation of the organization. |
Maintains professional competence and keeps abreast of changes and trends in retirement living and long-term care fields in relation to Environmental Services. Shares knowledge to assist with development of staff and board members. |
