In this role, your primary responsibilities include:

• Providing assistance with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting.
• Helping develop life skills and encouraging independence.
• Offering support with medication administration and medical appointments.
• Documenting care and progress using a web-based case management application.
• Ensuring compliance with all state and agency policies.
• Facilitating fun and engaging activities that promote community inclusion and socialization.
• Supporting the physical and emotional needs of the individual.
• Providing transportation when necessary.

Depending on your preferences and skills, you may also take on additional responsibilities such as:

• Assisting with personal care needs like bathing, toileting, and feeding.
• Supporting complex medical protocols for individuals with specific health concerns.
• Caring for individuals with diverse physical or medical needs, including behavioral support.

Requirements:

• Must be a resident of the state to provide contracted services.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and vehicle registration required.
• Active home or renters insurance.
• You must own or rent your own home/apartment/condo/townhouse.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience is preferred but not necessary; training will be provided.
• Reliable access to a computer and the internet.
• Completion of all state-mandated training courses.
• A clean and safe living environment.
• Ability to pass State/Federal and APS/CPS background checks.
