Centurion Health is proud to be the provider ofcomprehensive healthcare services to the Kansas Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Kansas Juvenile Correctional Complex located in Topeka, Kansas.

Responsibilities:

The Licensed Mental Health Clinician provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including: intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.

Primary duties include completing behavioral health intakes for new admissions into the facility, conducting psychological testing and evaluations to support the Reception and Diagnostic Unit process. Additional duties would include maintaining a small caseload for special needs and individual therapy clients, behavioral health sick call, crisis assessment and intervention, etc.

Qualifications:

• Masters level degree in Psychology,Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required.
• Active Clinical LCMFTs, Clinical LCPCs, LMLPs, and LCPs professional license in the state of Kansas required
• Experience with developing and implementing behavioral interventions with adolescents
• Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification.
• Minimum of two years experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Available Shift:

Full Time, Days, Reception & Diagnostic Unit (RDU)

Monday-Friday; five 8-hour days

This position participates in rotating behavioral health on-call.
