The General Laborer is responsible for hand-sorting materials such as wooden pallets, boxes, and plastic bins, and other miscellaneous duties throughout the distribution center. Responsibilities also include achieving expected production requirements while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.Employment is contingent upon completing a background check and drug test, in accordance with local and state laws and regulations.ResponsibilitiesHand stacking materials appropriately and following instructionsLoading and unloading materials by hand into trailersMoving materials on pallets or in crates around the storage facilityChecking loads to make sure they are secureExamining products to verify conformance to quality standardsAbility to maintain Relogistics efficiency and performance standards of productionMust maintain a clean & safe working environmentEducation and/or ExperienceHigh degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environmentFollow instructions for keeping recordsUnderstanding that overtime may be requiredWork Environment CharacteristicsAbility to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulateRepetitively lift up to 50-75 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths in timeThe employee is frequently required to sit, talk, hear, walk and use hands to handle, feel and reach.The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and color vision.Must have a good sense of balance & good eye-hand-foot coordinationRelogistics Services, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.Hourly pay is dependent on experience and other variables, but this is our starting target range: $17 - $17 USD.Apply for this job* indicates a required field
