The Used Equipment Inspector is responsible for inspection of various types of used equipment; including, but not limited to, trade-ins, consignments, warranty inspections, and other applicable inspections for remarketing and sales.What You Will Do in This Role:Performs detailed field inspections ontrade-in heavy equipment, equipment purchases, consignments, warranty inspections, and other business needs.Operates and inspects equipment to diagnose operating condition, wear, damage, etc.Prepares inspection forms, conducts research, and provides detailed descriptions for others in the department to establish equipment market values.Captures videos and photos for advertising needs.Conducts equipment demonstrations and trainings as needed.Regularly inspects current inventory and notifies managers of needed repairs.Attend, and participate in, required sales meetings, trade shows, and required training.Extensive travel throughout territory.
